Health Emergency Declared in Chaman Amid Pak-Afghan Tensions

A health emergency has been declared in Chaman district amid rising tensions along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, as authorities prepare for any potential crisis.
According to the District Health Officer (DHO), all leaves of health department employees have been canceled, and staff have been directed to report for duty immediately.
All medical officers, paramedical staff, and support personnel have been summoned. Officials have also been instructed to ensure the availability of medicines, medical equipment, and fully operational ambulance services.
The development comes after Pakistan launched Operation ‘Ghazab-ul-Haq’ in response to what officials described as unprovoked actions by the Afghan Taliban regime along the border.
